Lawnsy Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026 · Version: 2026-10-07

This Privacy Policy describes information handled by Lawnsy, a lawn-care discovery and booking-request app. Questions about Lawnsy’s privacy practices may be sent to help@lawnsy.net.

Information we handle

Waitlist

When you join the Lawnsy waitlist through Lawnsy.net or Hard2Simple.com, we store your name, email, optional phone number, homeowner/provider selection, signup date, and permission to send Lawnsy launch updates and early-access information in Supabase. We use it to manage the waitlist and contact you about your signup, and send a confirmation email after a successful signup. Signup abuse protection temporarily stores a hashed network identifier. Waitlist details are not public. To unsubscribe or request deletion, email help@lawnsy.net.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate users, show public provider listings and reviews, match a nearby customer to a provider’s service radius, create and manage booking requests, send notifications, respond to reports, prevent abuse, and operate and secure Lawnsy.

Contact form

If you send us a question, we use your name, email address, and message to respond. The contact form sends this information to our contact mailbox through our website host. The site displays a confirmation after the message is accepted for sending; it does not send an automatic email to you. Contact submissions are not added to the waitlist.

What other users can see

Provider business details, services, portfolio photos, ratings, reviews, and customer display names/reviews may be visible in the app. Provider service-area coordinates and customer search coordinates are not displayed. Booking details are restricted to the customer and provider involved.

Service providers and sharing

Lawnsy uses Supabase for account authentication, database, file storage, and application services; Google may provide sign-in; Expo may deliver push notifications when enabled. When you choose to look up a property address, that address is sent to the Photon search service operated by komoot, which uses OpenStreetMap data, to find possible matches and coordinates. If no match is found for a full address, we may also send it to the US Census Bureau geocoding service. Device coordinates are not sent for property address lookup. These providers process data to provide their services. We do not currently take payment in the app.

Retention and deletion

You can request deletion in Account Settings or at lawnsy.net/delete-account. Deletion is designed to remove your sign-in and associated Lawnsy profile data, photos, bookings, and reviews. We may retain limited records where law requires it or where necessary to handle disputes, fraud, safety, or security, and will delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.

Your choices

Location and push notifications are optional and can be declined or turned off in device settings. Users can update profile details, remove portfolio photos, block accounts, report content, and request account deletion. You may have additional privacy rights under laws that apply where you live. Contact help@lawnsy.net with privacy requests.

Children and security

Lawnsy is not designed for children. We use access controls and platform security measures to protect data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. For account or security concerns, contact help@lawnsy.net.

Changes and contact

We will update the version/date when this policy changes and request renewed consent where required. Questions or privacy requests: help@lawnsy.net.
